Ten rupees indian coin photo details

Good news for coin collectors and curious on-lookers.Reserve Bank of India(RBI) has decided to release coins of ten rupees monetary value to the market.

This coin when released would be the highest currency in circulation (in coins),five rupee coin bing the next highest.This ten tupee coin is a bimetallic one and has unique look compared to other coins.The design of this coin is prepared by National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

This bimetallic coin is made of Nickel-Bronze on the outer side and with Ferrous steel on the inner.The coin weighs about 8 grams with 28mm diameter.The coins are expected to hit the market soon.
